Anyone having problems with WordPress?
I use WordPress through an app to post my reviews and photo galleries. Before my laptop got ruined in the flood I only went to WordPress to check other reviews. I think I uploaded once as a test. I found it easier via app.
However as of late it’s been a pain in the ass since the app had an update. In the past I simply click on add photo I get taken to a 2nd page to see the status from there I can do anything. Add another photo, preview, schedule or go back and write more. Simple stuff. Done in a minute or 2. Since the update different story.
Now when I upload a photo some will appear so I can see the status and some don’t. Even if I can’t see the photo when it’s uploading or the status it does upload. However, Not all the photos get uploaded so I have to do it again. So now I gotta upload and if it doesn’t show go to the body of the post or preview. This can take forever. My Dawn of the Dead gallery took forever and my Friday the 13th Lobby Card gallery also took time. I almost gave up on it since it took so damn long.
Its simply too much of a pain in the ass to continue photo galleries and reviews well I can just add less screenshots, but I want that to be my choice not because of an error. I can open safari and see if I can upload. I can’t on Facebook I have to use the app so I assume WordPress will be the same but until I try I won’t know.
I have reviewed all over and WordPress is by far the best and easiest (well was) I also enjoy reading reviews from everyone else and I enjoy the interaction with you all, but if this keeps up I may need to find a new place. I have an EBlogger page but never took to it and deleted my stuff and never used it again. If I stay here well I may not be as active as a simple task which I enjoy has turned into a major pain.
Anyone else use the app and encounter these problems?

Problems with wordpress come and go all the time, but from everything I’ve heard, the other blogging sites are even moereinconsistent in terms of performance. I’d suggest sticking it out here not because wordpress is so great, but simply because every alternative out there is even worse.

Thanks. I’ll probably stick it out. There was another update but it didn’t fix this.
I do like it here from the people I met and the ease of posting. But it can get annoying when it takes forever or want things in a certain order than having to fix it.
I’ll do a test run through opening safari and see if its any easier. If not just gotta take my time.

I do wish there were a better alternative to wordpress available, but since there’s not, I’m here for the duration, as well.

It seems the less photos I upload there isn’t a problem. The more I upload is when things get messy. Knowing that I’ll have to adjust.

I’ve had problems mainly with posting photo’s or images, but like I said they usually get sorted out, but not without a lot of frustration. All right! I’ve nominated you first!

I never had any problems until my Dawn of the Dead gallery. Thought maybe a slight glitch. But guess not.

If it doesn’t get sorted make sure you contact the support folks. They may not be able to fix the problem immediately but if they’re aware of it, they can try.

Good idea. I think I’ll do just that. I can upload through safari, but its a bit confusing for me. Same from when I had a laptop. For me app was easier. But I’ll contact wp anyways since its now about 2-weeks since it started.
Like I said the less I upload no problem. The more is when I encounter the problem.

If nothing else they may have a few tips for uploading a larger amount of photos. Good luck getting it sorted mate!

This was never a problem before. I uploaded many poster galleries. Whenever these apps are updated something always goes wrong from what I have noticed. If it stays this way I’ll have to limit it. Its just a time killer. Takes a long time.

WordPress changes stuff all the time, last week I didn’t get any replies in the notifications for 2 days. They always fix it just make sure you complain on the support page

I will complain. There are things I wanted to post with galleries. But takes too long. Hopefully enough messages it will be fixed

I understand it from their point of view, try to update stuff and obviously if they don’t complain its gold. Complain like a bitch my friend

Yeah I’m all for updates but they seem to mess things up. I had one app where I stored my reviews (also had them saved in email in case something breaks or floods lol). But after the update couldn’t open the app for my reviews kept crashing. After 2-weeks deleted it and got a different app
